(June 3rd) 2019 Chungju World Martial Arts Mastership Honorary Ambassador athlete Kim So-hui Appointed by Chairman Lee Si Jong
2019 Chungju World Martial Arts Mastership Committee has appointed 9 honorary ambassadors.
Following the reccommendations of the International Federations of the athlete's sport, the 9 ambassadors
are: Taekwondo athlete Kim So-hui (26, Korea); Hapkido athlete Christian Tissier (68, France); Judo athlete Obaid Al-Anzi (64, Kuwait);
Sambo athlete Alsim Chernoskulov (36, Russia); Belt wrestling athlete Meerim Momunova (29, Kyrgyzstan);
Wushu athlete Daria Tarasova (31, Russia); Ju-jitsu athlete Luis Baguena Salvador (85, Spain); Savate athlete Ibrahim Konate (37, Mali);
Muaythai athlete Janice Lyn (35, Canada).
Kim So-hui representing the athletes came to the Chungbuk council chamber to receive her appointment.
Hailing from Jaecheon, Chungbuk, Kim So-hui represented Korea in the Rio 2016 Olympics and won Gold in the 2015, 2018
WTA World Grand Prix Series.
The honorary ambassadors will introduce the sports featured in the competition and offer their salute and congratulations
in UCC videos. They will also make an appearance in the opening ceremony to uplift the spirits of those participating.
Kim So-hui said, "I will do my best to promote Chungbuk as a center of martial arts in the world and to bolster
the World Martial Arts Mastership.
Bearing the slogan "Beyond the Times, Bridge the World," the 2019 Chungju World Martial Arts Mastership
running from August 30th to September 6th is predicted to have 20 events with over 4000 athletes from 100 countries.
